Your words,
your space.

Privacy policy · Updated October 31, 2026

WritL does not send your writing to the developer and contains no advertising, analytics SDKs, or tracking.

Your writing stays with you

Pages, titles, groups, and settings are stored locally on your iPad. WritL does not require a separate account or operate a developer-hosted service for your documents. Your device's system backup settings may also determine how app data is backed up.

iCloud is optional

If you enable iCloud Drive sync in WritL, Apple stores and transfers your writing and organization data through your Apple Account. WritL's developer does not receive those documents. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple's privacy policy and your system settings.

Sharing and widgets

Exported files go to the destination you select in the system share sheet. The recipient or chosen service handles those copies under its own practices. Home Screen widgets use a local shared app container to display pinned page titles and previews; they do not send that content to the developer.

Deletion and recovery

Deleted pages have local recovery copies for up to 30 days. Delete All Permanently in Recently Deleted removes those copies on this iPad after confirmation. Small records without the page's writing are retained to prevent a synced deletion from being reversed by an offline device. Recovery copies on other devices, exported files, and system backups are separate.

Support correspondence

If you email support, your email address and the information you include are received to respond to your request. Please send only the information needed to explain the issue. For questions or requests concerning support correspondence, contact [email protected].
